[Comment 58: What was remarkable about the winter of 2005/6 in the UK was not the temperatures in January and February, which were close to normal for the time of year, but the temperatures in March, which were far lower than normal for the time of year. Had Corbyn predicted that March would be unusually cold then it would indeed have been quite impressive: but he did not. So this statement was designed to mislead the public, most of whom are unlikely to be sufficiently aware of the detailed 2005/6 UK weather patterns to see through this sleight of hand.
